Editorial JODS Editor - August 2022
Editor's Letter
Andrei Tanase
BADS have just organised and completed the most important event on the calendar for 2022. The Annual Conference help in Nottingham in June was a resounding success. With registration outnumbering capacity for the event, record number of trade exhibitors and hundreds of abstracts submitted, the 2022 Conference was the highlight of the BADS Calendar.
As the Editor-in-Chief of JODS we have had significant progress to the changes announced in May.
This includes:
- Moved JODS to a dedicated Journal Management Platform: August Edition of JODS is the first edition available both on the BADS Website and the new OJS Platform, available at jods.online
- Articles will be available with full citation tracking, CrossRef and ORCiDintegration
- Google Scholar indexing
- Increase throughput of JODS to 25 articles per edition and apply for PubMed indexing
- Establishing an editorial board to help with increased number of submissions
I wish to bring JODS to the forefront of British and International Scholarly Journals and make JODS to go to Journal for anything related to Daycase and One-Day Surgery.
